High Score, Quick Games and Obscure Records

Last night had to be the fastest 16 run game in the history of baseball.
12 Red Sox batters came up and ALL scored before Boston made it's first out more than a half hour into the bottom of the sixth. Despite that the game was over in 2.5 hours and the Sox walked away with a 13-3 win over Cleveland.
Boston Broke the AL record of 11 runs in an inning before making an out and tied the modern major league mark of 12-and accomplished the feat without Youkilis, Jacoby and Ortiz.
Go figure.
